Welcome to Texas Western Apparel (TWA). We are more than just a boutique; we are a destination for those who live and breathe the country lifestyle. Based in Rangiora, North Canterbury, our mission is to bridge the gap in the New Zealand market by providing the authentic, high-energy Western shopping experience that was once only found overseas.

 

The Mother-Daughter Duo

TWA is owned and operated by Rebecca Rodgers and Kezia Forman, a mother and daughter team united by a deep passion for Western fashion and a desire to help people feel confident in what they wear. We believe that Western wear has a unique power to make you feel good about yourself, and we are proud to share that with New Zealand.

• Rebecca Rodgers: A mother of five and a former courier business owner, Rebecca brings a wealth of life experience and a tirelesswork ethic to TWA. Living on a farm property in West Eyreton with her horses and sheep, she understands the practical needs of rural life. She builds this business on the core values of family, loyalty, and strength.
• Kezia Forman: With ten years of retail experience, Kezia is the fashion visionary behind the brand. Her expertise in visual merchandising and commercial trends ensures that TWA always stays ahead of the curve, offering styles that are as trendy as they are timeless.

 

A Destination Experience

The idea for TWA was born after several trips overseas, where we realized that New Zealand was missing out on the magic of a physical Western store. While Western fashion is popular across the country, it has historically been confined to the digital world.

We are changing that.

We have envisioned our Rangiora store as the "ultimate" western destination. A place where you can touch the leather, try on the boots, and soak in the authentic energy of the West.

 

Rooted in the South Island

Located in the heart of the South Island, we celebrate the charm and simplicity of country living. Whether you are a local in North Canterbury or traveling from Christchurch, our collection of cowboy boots, hats, denim, and artisan leather is designed for both rural utility and urban style.

Beyond our physical store and website, you’ll find us where the action is: we plan to bring TWA to you through pop-up stores at rodeos, fairs, and field days across the country.
